Helping Our Children Stay Centered

Helping Our Children Stay Centered
Happy Thursday! ☀️

I spoke last week about the importance of making sure our boys understand how their school lives are going to be different, now that we've taken that leap of putting our kids back into school.

Not only do we have constant and open communication about what's to come, we've started both gratitude journals 📖 and using #essentialoils to keep our kids focused, balanced, and centred. 🙏🏻

The gratitude journal has been helpful since Covid started and is something that I'd strongly recommend for all parents to do with their children. Children, like adults, need to be able to express how they feel and appreciate what they have at the moment.

Essential oils are beneficial to kids and adults alike for a large variety of reasons. I use this essential oil called Happiness by The Aromatherapist. It truly does make you feel happy!

Once school starts, I will also start the Defence essential oil. The science behind essential oils is real. The olfactory nerve (the nerve responsible for smell), is directly linked to the limbic system of the brain. This part of the brain controls heart rate, blood pressure, breathing, memory, hormone balance and STRESS LEVELS.

I would love to know what your go-to methods have been for helping your kids (and yourself) feel centered and ready to take on the world. 🌎
