Meet District 7 candidate, Dr. Mandeep Johal. Dr. Johal graduated from the School of Dental Medicine at Case Western Reserve University in 2010 and has been practising dentistry for 10 years in the Kitchener-Waterloo and Guelph areas.

She also sits on the board of the American Academy of Physiological Medicine and Dentistry (AAPMD) where she advocates for public awareness, promoting affordable airway care for all, and advancing interdisciplinary collaboration.

Dr. Johal is fiercely passionate about the quality of oral health care. She intends to bring her strong sense of advocacy to the council and believes that, despite different opinions, it will take an open-minded approach to achieve common goals for dentists and patients.
