What Is The Best Age for Orthodontic Treatment
A repost from the lovely @dr.marianna_evans on Facebook!
Parents tend to think that their children's facial development can be corrected by getting them braces between the ages of 10 to 14 years old. The reality is, most of their facial growth is complete by age 7 and 90% by the time they're ready for braces.
I like to assess babies and young children for facial growth development. We can tell incredibly early on how the jaw will development from how the baby breaths and the position of the tongue. We can help as young as 6 months old. I'm not only looking at the teeth, but also everything else from from head to neck.
